We have only been together for over 5 years, though we both became parents exactly 20 years ago. �� ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ My firstborn Maxime was born in Monaco on 13 Nov 1999 at 2am. Louis' firstborn Elizaan was born the exact same day (just 12 hours later) in South Africa. Different parents, different hemispheres, different nationality and then faith put them in the same family 15 years later. We used to call them "step twins" . �� Since my son is in Tokyo this is the first time we are not together celebrating their birthday. Tonight we are taking Elizaan out for dinner. I hope she knows how much love is coming her way. �� In Sweden they don't call our set up a "blended" family but a "bonus" family.
